简要履历:

1992年9月至1996年6月:华东师范大学生物学系读大学本科,获学士学位。
1996年7月至2005年3月:湖南师范大学生命科学学院植物学系及植物标本馆工作,兼任湖南省植物学会兼职干事。
2000年9月至2004年6月:湖南师范大学生命科学学院在职读硕士研究生,获硕士学位。
2005年3月至2008年1月:中国科学院昆明植物研究所读博士研究生,获博士学位。
2008年1月至2013年5月:中国科学院昆明植物研究所“生物多样性与植物资源研究组”工作。
2009年9月至2010年1月:由于日本学术振兴会资助,在日本冈山大学做客员教授5个月。
2012年3月至2013年3月:由中国科学院留学基金资助,在美国Old Dominion University做访问学者1年。
2013年6月至2018年3月:中国科学院武汉植物园非洲研究中心主任,项目研究员、研究员;
2015年4月至今: 兼任中国科学院武汉植物园标本馆馆长;
2018年3月至今: 中国科学院武汉植物园东非植物区系与分类学科组组长(PI)。
